War and Peace - 1900's
War and Peace (1867) is a Russian novel that mixes the historical events of the Napoleonic War with the fictional lives of a range of Russian aristocrats. The section of the novel that I have chosen to adapt originally takes place in 1810’s. For a genre twist, I have decided to bring the story 100 years in the future, changing the backdrop conflict from the Napoleonic War to the Russian Revolution and eventual rise of the Soviet Union.

A retelling of Shakespear's "The Tempest". When the King's royal ship washes up on the mystical island Miranda and her father, Prospero, were exiled to, she sees an opportunity to fix her family's wrongs. But how will she combat Prospero's descent into madness, the royal advisor's plan to kill the king, and the underlying evil that exists on the island?
